In simple, victim types the URL where our fake page is stored.. This make victim's mind in doubt.

In desktop, victim types the original URL but our fake page shows up. He doesn't have any idea about it. Because URL look same..

e.g: http://www.facebook.com/ will be same as it is...

Requirements For Desktop Phishing:

1. wamp server

2. fake page

i'm not giving links to both of these. you can google it.

After installiing wamp server, 'start all services'.

Now copy your fake page and paste it in the following directory.

C:\wamp\www\

Now we're gonna do the most important part of desktop phishing.

We're going to change hosts files. This will make link to stay as it typed.

To open hosts file, run notepad 'as administrator'. And goto C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and choose hosts files. 

If nothing appeared in the folder, click on all files, where is txt.

After getting it opened, make a lil change in it.

now at the end of the text in hosts file, we enter as follow.

Code:

127.0.0.1                 www.facebook.com

127.0.0.1                 facebook.com

And SAVE IT.

We've done all...

Now whenever victim visits http://www.facebook.com/ he'll get onto our fake page and when he'll enter email and password and hit login button. 

His/her email and password will be saved in the following directory.

C:\wamp\www\usernames or passwords

Steps : 

1. Registering NO-IP

Go to http://www.noip.com

Then click sign up

Fill the information.. and remember a valid Email

Scroll down.

Click sign up free,

Confirm the email you got and log in

2. Setting up NO-IP

Click "Add Host"

and then choose your "No-IP" host name

Click update.

Then you'll get redirected to this page.

And now you all set..

Note: Some people will recommend to download "DUC / Dynamic Update Client" but its not needed!

3. Setting up DarkComet

Open up DarkComet.

Click Darkcomet-RAT

Then "Listen to new port"

Then enter you that port you want to use..

Note: If you dont know how to port forward check the box "Try to forward automatically", and hopefully it will forward.

Click Darkcomet-RAT

Click Client Settings.

Then click NO-IP Updater

Now to setting up the server!

It will start scanning your server, and around 50-70% you should get a slave.. but it will not be permanent it will disapear..

Q – Whats RAT?

A – A RAT is also a shortcut called Remote Administrator Tool. It is mostly used for malicious purposes, such as controlling PC’s, stealing victims data, deleting or editing some files. You can only infect someone by sending him file called Server and they need to click it.

Q – How they work?

A - Some RATs can spread over P2P file sharing programs(uTorrent, Pirate Bay etc.), Messangers spams(MSN, Skype, AIM etc.).

Q – Download?

A – You can find tons of RATs on the forums or you can search them up.

Q – How do I control server?

A - Once installed, RAT server can be controlled via RAT client. From IP list box you choose PC and connect.

Q – What do I need to setup RAT?

A - Well, you will need Windows OS, open port & RAT. 

Q – How do I port forward?

A – Port forwarding is easy and important for RAT. Well, you need open port because RAT connects through open port and bypass firewall. Open your web browser and write your IP and connect to your rooter(write Username: Admin & Password: Admin), open port forward page and write port you want and your IP. Well that’s all you need to do and now you got open port.

Q – How do I make my server FUD?

A - If you want to make your server FUD again, you will need crypter(you can find free FUD one here.). Also, you can hex edit your server, but be careful some servers can crash after hex editing.

Q – How do I remove server if I infect myself?

A - When you infect yourself, first what you going to do is to connect to your PC. Some RATs have function to uninstall servers, well you click that and you uninstall it. Well there is another way, download MalwareBytes’ Anti-Malware and scan whole computer for Trojan.
